Description

Aims

The program will enable students to acquire main generic and professional competencies in tourism and hospitality. Program graduates will have knowledge and skills to manage and administrate tourism and hospitality enterprises and business according to specifics of international and national markets trends


Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the program will be able to:
• Apply generic competences in national and international professional working environment
• Recognize and manage main business processes and their interaction
• Assess business environment and its impact on business operations
• Conduct basic business research and use business mathematics applications
• Demonstrate understanding of tourism system and tourism industry, its sectors and elements, and its complexity
• Demonstrate awareness of the main principles of hospitality
• Assess internal and external tourism business environment and to demonstrate knowledge about domestic and international tourism destinations
• Demonstrate skills for creating tourism innovative products and services and promote them in creative manner
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in organizing and managing work of hotel, travel agencies, tour operations, to define, assess and analyze complex situations, make reasonable decisions in tourism enterprise
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in technologies and innovations in tourism and to use tourism information and reservation systems
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in tourism marketing, assess internal and external tourism marketing environment, to perform market research and segmentation, examine and formulate results of market research
• Communicate effectively with business partners and clients in national and foreign languages, create, develop and maintain a functional network and profitable customer relationships in global tourism and hospitality environment
